I assembled my first computer in 2014. It was working very well till June when it suddenly get restarted one day and power supply surges detected message was on display. I ignored it the first time but then it again happened and after that my pc stopped working. I thought it might be because of power fluctuations and i got my psu replaced as it was under warranty. Today it happened again and it kept on restarting when i tried to exit the BIOS and now it has stopped working but today there were no power fluctuations.

Now i am totally confused as i can still get my psu replaced but i want to make sure it's not because of some other problem and if the problem is with psu why they are constantly becoming dead.

Also, otherwise my pc never restarts and can work continously for hours. So i am not sure if the problem is due to the motherboard feature as suggested in other threads as it never displays this message. But as it's my second psu to stop working i think there might be some other problem also.

Until now i was not using any surge protection and ups and now i am considering buying one. So please suggest some good products.

P.s. my motherboard is asus h97 pro gamer
And psu is corsair rm650x
Graphics card zotac gtx 770
Processor i5 4570
