Hello, I'm thinking of buying a GeForce GTX 970 graphics card, but my psu has only 1 6+2 pin cable, there also is a 4pin cable, could I put my 6 pin into the hole and the 2 from the 6+2 and 4 from another cable to the other hole? Or should I just buy a new PSU (mine has 650w so i'd not want to buy a 500 or something psu) which has 2 6 pins or other?

PC Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3350P CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
Memory: 12288MB RAM
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Current GPU Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti
HDD Model: TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 ATA Device

BTW, won't my CPU be a bottleneck for my GPU?

TY

Solution
That PSU is a fire hazard, replace it immediately!

If you are in europe, usually the Seasonic G 550 and XFX TS Gold 550 are cheapest, but look out for other Seasonic platform supplies (you can check jonnyguru and others). If stateside, EVGA G2 550 is the cheapest for good quality. Asia, it's between the Corsair RM550x and Seasonic models

So this CPU is crap? I bought this pc few years ago and it was prebuilt. I only paid like 500 euro. OK so my if i change my psu do i need to change something else? or I will be ok with just changing the cpu and the gpu will work good. Thanks for the warning, i think i'll for sure change my psu.

No need to change the CPU unless you really want to, only the PSU needs an upgrade. At this point though, no sense in getting the 970, the 1060 is cheaper and faster.
