Hello folks, lately my fans has been running in a high volume so I decided to check the temperature of my computer. I looked through a program which said that my CPU was running in 115 degrees which scared me quite a lot. I checked some other temperature programs and they said the same thing.

However I found this thread and the link to Corsair Link: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2420173/motherboard-temperature-high.html

So I downloaded it and it located which my motherboard is and the temperature looks good on most numbers but there is still one that says 115 C degrees.

Anyone can help me understand? Here is a screenshot from Corsair:

Thanks a lot

on newer mb that higher temp is the main chipset of the mb. as everything now runs through thta chip it gets toasty.
most newer mb vendor now put small heat sink with there logo on it to cover that chipset to keep it cool. if your mb does not have one and there room. they do make glue on and small fans for chipset.
