So my friend recently got scammed and ended up with the Asus P5N-D. So instead of throwing it out, i would like to know what the best cpu would be for this board. I am aware it is an old board and can't support anything good.

From Asus site for that motherboard:

Intel Socket 775 Core™2 Quad/Core™2 Extreme/Core™2 Duo/Pentium® Extreme/Pentium® D/Pentium® 4 Processors
Compatible with Intel® 05B/05A/06 processors
Support Intel® 45nm CPU

Put the model on google and it should give the Asus product page on top for more details.
