I am unable to install a few programs for Windows 10 Pro because the programs are reading a different operating system. I've never had Windows 8 on this computer, but some programs are reading Windows 8. What can I do about it. When I check in Control Panel/Systems it shows Windows 10 pro 64-bit.

It has nothing to do with Windows and everything to do with poor software. Most likely that software was never working on 8+, so anything above 7 will give you the same error. Contact the software maker about the issue.
