I Bought a i7-6950X and bought G-skill trident z DDR4 memory 8x16gb CL14 3200mhz.
My MB Asus x99 deluxe II supports up to 3333mhz(OC) of frequency.

I was reading that this processor supports up to 2400MHz of frequency.

This means that my memory 3200mhz will adjust to 2400MHz? or I can adjust it for XMP through my motherboard bios? Thanks

No guarantees they will all play together nice, when you gt them we can try at 3200 then if no joy work our way down till we find a place where they will play, or you can return and get an actual full set, they normally cost more than the smaller sets put together, but that's because it can take a lot of testing to find a full load of sticks that will play nice, just finding a pair to play is fairly quick and easy, the more sticks involved the more testing

No it runs at 3200 after overclocking by our Motherboard. Enable XPS if you want to let it do automatically. But note 8x16gb at 3200 is pretty nice stuff, means that it is depending on your "CPU capabilites", which Asus mentioned it in the QVL. But howeever you should be able to run it at 3000 Mhz at least.

I bought 4 kits 32gb (2x16gb), all the same model.

The new G-skill trident z DDR4 3200Mhz with CL-14 latency, I heard you are the best in the market memories
