8GB ram now, 16GB later

I am going to buy the MSI b150 M3 and only have money for 8GB of memory now. Later I want 16gb so shal i get 2x4gb now and buy the same later? Or shall I get 1gb stick now and buy the same one later?

That motherboard has the compatibility for 4 DIMM RAM Slots, which would allow you to have 4x4GB RAM. If you do not plan on going over 16GB then the best option would be getting 2x4GB now and getting another (Possibly the same) 2x4GB later.
