Hi! I have a HP Probook 4330s and it shuts off with no warning. My CPU reaches around 67C when it shuts off. The PC came with a i3-2350M that have a max TDP of 85C and now i have a i7-2630QM that have max TDP of 100C. It doen't even come close to 100C without shutting off.
I have tried to set my graphics settings to Max battery so it will keep cool. when I run CPU burner it works fine. But when I test both CPU and GPU in a stresstest it will power off in 1 second.

You probably stressed some of the power delivery components on the motherboard by installing the higher-power i7 processor. Heat monitoring on laptops are notoriously inaccurate. TDP is also not specifically temperature, more a measure of how much power the chip needs to run. I suspect your notebooks motherboard was not designed to deliver that much current to the processor

I believe all Intel processors start throttling around 80C., regardless of the TDP. so a shut-down is in my opinion more a power delivery issue than a cooling issue.

This is not just for the i7, It did happen with the i3 the PC shipped with, and then I tried an i5, but no changes...
