So yesterday the internet on my pc cut out and restored itself after a couple of minutes, so I didn't think much of it.
However this morning when I started up my pc and used it for about half an hour, the same thing happened and I've been trying to fix it for over 3 hours.

I've restarted my router, reinstalled the drivers, checked the cables and powerlines and even resetted my pc because I couldn't really find a good solution on the internet because most of the people that have this problem seem to use wifi instead of cable.
I really don't know what to do anymore since I kinda ran out of possible solutions myself.

Solution
Simple solution:
Go to network settings and choose change adapter settings.
Disable your ethernet device and wait for a full minute and then re enable it.
Should work right after that.

Please provide additional information on your hardware. There are many potential sources for this issue.

Do any PCs or phones connect either wired or wireless?

I assume that you are using powerline adapters, if so you may need to reset them as they sometimes set up an incompatible network of their own.

You need to trace the network failure in a step by step way, you can either start at the router and work toward the end device or the other way around.
