Watch this, really strong build, it's in dollars but if you switch for pounds it's around the £600 mark, although GPU isn't in stock now, wait a week or two and you can get an after market 480 to get a bit more performance from it. Some parts in the UK are a bit expensive right now though, so to counter that you could switch out the hard drive for a 500gb one, get 1 stick of 8gb instead of 2 4gb ones, and get a slightly cheaper motherboard or case! Maybe even swap the 6500 for a 6400 :)

Mmm I wouldn't go for a 360, maybe an rx 480 would be good for you, I'm not sure what parts you need. Do you already have a case and power supply or is this a brand new build?

Building a PC usually gets you better components compared to pre-built. You get to squeeze as much performance for your money as you can, and in most cases you can get quite a bit more for your money out of a self build. Plus the PC will always feel more personal if you built it :)
