Needing a new motherboard, please offer advice and opinions :)))

So my motherboard has died and I need a new one to replace it, do I opt for the same Board as I know it's compatible with everything I have, or should I opt for another, if their is any benefits to the change?

my current one is a MSI z97 PC mate, yet I was also looking at the similar models, if this board good enough or should I perhaps get another model, thanks in advance guys

My hardware is:
CPU Intel i5 4690k
Gigabyte GeForce 1070
Xfx 650w XTR
2x4 gb low vengeance corsair ram
Zalman z11 plus H mid tower case
Cool master hype CPU cooler

Any Z97 board will be ok, the Z97 PC Mate is not bad. It's compatible with all of the parts you've listed anyway.

If you're looking at US prices, you can also try the Z97X-SLI for 80 dollars + 20 MIR.

around 100 pounds is the max i am looking to spare on a new mobo, i typically buy from amazon but any retailer willing to deliver to the UK is fine with me.

I have an Asus Maximums VIII Hero Alpha and I love it. So, I would recommend an Asus and for your budget, you may like this one, hopefully it is available in the UK for you.

This is the best Mobo for Z79 , has it all

good sound ALC 1150 , M2 on 4x PCIe 3.0 (others come on x2 PCIe 2.0 ) , 2xGBLAN , SLI , DTS conect

The first one without USB3.1 , the second with USB3.1 . same mobo both but with USB3.1 card in the second.

and Ultra M2 32Gb/s PCIE 3.0 Socket is rare to find in Z97 Mobos !!! you can use Samsung SM951/961 NVME on it
