Hi, what's is better the corsair cs series 750w or the be quiet 800w straight power 10 cm. I know that they have different power but i want to know what is better in terms of perfomance. Thanks

Solution
It's not important how much time per day you use the computer.
A good PSU can operate 24/7 for years under high load.
As was mentioned above, if you have to chose, the Be Quiet will do the job.

that's comes down to haw many had drives video cards and devices ya plan to run.the amount of usb devices burners how many hard drives ect all use power.

of the top of my head id say ya be fine .

but ya can try extreme power supply calculatetor and itll give ya a more accurate size of power supply ya need.
if ya use it in advanced mode even more precise.you can but in details like if ya plan to run it 24 . if your running any lighting how many fans ya have ect how many full blown memory dims your actually using .

yeah if your every unsure of how big of a psu ya really need just look up extreme power supply calculator.

Yeah in reality peak power draw will be more like 300-350W, and you'll rarely even go near peak power draw. Considering you'll be going with Be Quiet as well this is good as the PSU will produce almost no noise (and the noise it will make won't be audible over the CPU and GPU coolers) on account of Be Quiet's very good fan and the fact that you won't even be stressing the PSU to 50%.

as for saying witch brand is better ya need to really really research and see if ya can find if a sub contractor is making the psu for those companys witch capacitos they using ect only way to know for sure witch is better . some time companys use sub par caps or get a bad batch of capacitors so don't last as long .
example rosewill makes some very decent powers upplys but not all of ewm are good I got a rosewill capstone 1000 watt wonj a lot of system builder award ect and top pick on a few tech sites at the time

but in that calculator ya can see hot ya can even set it for usage like if ya only run it around 6 to 8 hours a day or 24/7
as an example.

if ya run it 24/7 going to need larger wattage power supply do to capacitor aging ect ..

capacitors lose max wattage over time . with heat and aother factors can make m age even faster. but capacitors age no matter what .

it can be based an how healvily you actually use your system for somone that not running cpu intensive programs or software 24/7 a full load yeah then its not really a issue .

^ As said with quality caps aging is not an issue within a reasonable timeframe. It took 4 years for a total junk PSU that I had to actually have issues, quality PSUs can last well over a decade (could very well be fine for more than 20 years), hence the "reasonable timeframe".
