[SOLVED] netflix won't work on macbook pro

downloaded app for netflix on my macbook pro I also downloaded microsoft silverlight. it will load the main page but when I start the movie the page stays black.

I recently kicked Chrome in the nuts, and started using Firefox again. During this conversion I had a similar issue with YouTube videos.

To resolve, I discovered I had some Adobe software that was out of date. Once I upgraded, all is good again. It may be a long shot, but I am thinking it is something similar.
