I have recently bought 5.1 system. When I connect to my computer it work as 2.1 instead of 5.1. When I go to Realtek control panel (I already selected system to 5.1) and play test, it only play sound through front left and right speakers, rest all speakers (subwoofer, central and rear speakers) play no sound.
While searching on this issue on internet I found some solutions which I tried, but no success 
I tried to change settings in realtek control panel and sound properties in windows control panel.
One solution I found is disable integrated audio from bios, but this won’t work as I didn’t installed sound externally, but as no solution was their I did this as well. But as expected, it didn’t work.

Please help me to fix this issue. Below are my system details;

Motherboard: Gigabyte H97 D3H
Audio: Realtek ALC1150 115dB SNR HD Audio with built-in rear audio amplifier
Audio Details:
1. Realtek® ALC1150 codec
2. High Definition Audio
3. 2/4/5.1/7.1-channel
4. Support for S/PDIF Out
5.1 System: Philips SPA 7000B/94
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Please help me on this.

I'm staring to get the feeling the issue is with you rather than anything else.

Download MPC-HC (https://mpc-hc.org/downloads/) and Sintel (http://download.blender.org/durian/movies/), and then see if the speakers are working as expected. If they work, any problems you state are actually just your lack of understanding of what 5.1 and 2.1 audio actually means.

Yes, I did that. But its not working..... Front speakers I connected to Green connector, rear speakers to black and center /subwoofer to orange as per manuals (speaker and motherboard). I even configure it to 5.1 setting, but its not working.

What's not working, the configuration panel outputs? Whatever you are playing?

Both. Through Realtek Speaker Configuration panel, sound only comes from front speakers. If I play 5.1 music, surround no sound comes from rear (surround) speakers, front speakers, center speaker and sub woofer plays sound. It plays as if 2.1 speakers.
Not sure, but somewhere on internet I read it is Windows 10 issue, though that article was of oct 2015.
