Been looking to extend my wifi range outside my house, I get it a few meters from my door but would like to get ALOT more....And by alot more, i mean a few hundred meters if possible. Ive been looking at some things on the internet by they seem to be more for picking up hot spots.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks alot.

You have several ways to do this. An rp-sma signal amp and higher strength antenna can do it, an outdoor setup such as an outdoor extender (several on amazon for under $50) can do it. There are also tons of usb antennas with built in wifi cards on 15-25 foot cables can be bridged to your connection (don't recommend this but will work). Or you can just enclose another router in a waterproof box...

Or you can just enclose another router in a waterproof box, make sure to disable dhcp on the 2nd router and change lan IP, if you want network shares you must make sure they are both on the same subnet the usual is to make your 2nd router the next IP after your main router and place it outside the dhcp range). I can help you with a more detailed setup if you choose to do it that way. You can also usually get away with not using a signal amp as long as you at least have a higher strength antenna. A simple 15dbi yaggi got me 2000ft extra outdoor range. IF you have a particular area you need covered A yaggi is directional and the rest are omni directional.
