Is an EVGA GTX 1060 SC necessary in my build?

I have built my first PC, but haven't yet bought the graphics card. I am considering the EVGA GTX 1060 SC, as I like the small form factor and it seems to beat the RX 480 in benchmarks I have watched.
I plan on playing titles such as GTA V, Doom, Overwatch and Skyrim remaster (when released) and have a 1080p monitor. Would this GPU be needed to allow me to play popular titles now and for a few years at 1080p, or is there a cheaper alternative to this?

I have bought everything but the graphics card. I assume you have a suggestion for an improvement? :D

Unfortunately, I do. Haha. It's not that anything is bad in your build, by any means. I mean, I'm sitting here on a FX 8350 and GTX 770, so I don't have much room to talk. But your current build won't allow for DDR4, or any newer Intel chips, which kind of sucks.

Although, you may have bought these with that in mind, so I don't know. Haha. Either way though, the RX 480 and 1060 work well enough with your set up. I personally would go 1060.
