I was getting a warning my CPU was running hot so decided to check with real temp and its showing 90c, I wasn't doing anything at the time. So opened my pc and the heat sink has a sticker on it, an intel sticker. I dont know if thats supposed to be there or not.

Solution

Oh no! That is your problem, get that sticker off there.

Then clean off all the thermal paste from both the CPU and the heatsink (Use a tissue with rubbing alcohol), then get new thermal paste, put about a grain of rice worth in the middle of the CPU and then install the heatsink, HOLD it in place, and lock it down with the locking posts it has.

No.

Do not run your CPU without thermal paste and a properly installed cooler. You WILL burn it up. Don't even think about trying it.
