Best internet wireless adapters?

Does anyone know of/have a good internet wireless adapter?

Now looking to get one, but I'm not sure. It'll also be used a fair bit whilst playing games.

Any help would be appreciated!

Agreed, for gaming your best choice is Ethernet followed by powerline using a pair of AV1200 of better adapters (such as the TP-Link 8010 set for around $50 on sale).

If you go wireless for gaming it depends on your specific local conditions and distance from the wireless router.

You will need to provide additional information on your wireless router and computer hardware/OS to get any useful recommendations though. It is very little help to have an AC1900 PCIe adapter if your wireless router is only N300 2.4GHz.

I use over wire- at best buy they have a device. You plug into a normal socket and cable to the back of a PC just like normal networking. The other part you do the same thing to the hub/router. I get same throughput like I was on a network no wireless problems. Only thing is you need to make the network secure. Cost $60 or $70.

These are called powerline adapters, and I also recommend them for online gaming versus using wireless. But if wireless if the only option you will want to not only have a decent adapter, but also a good wireless router. I would recommend the latest wireless ac with beam forming support.

I unfortunately cannot recommend any particular adapter since I tend to stay hardwired in.
