Gigabyte z170 Gaming K3 - Bios flash help

Hello,

So I want to update my bios on my motherboard to the newest version but I am very inexperienced and afraid to mess something up.

Is there any guide on this particular motherboard or could anyone lend a quick helping hand on this? What is the steps.
I have downloaded the F2 version from gigabytes website.

There are two motherboard revisions of the Gigabyte z170 Gaming K3. Make sure you have the right one. Unzip the BIOS download. For a quick guide on how to use the EFI Flash Tool check here:

Basically you create a bootable USB 2.0 flash drive with DOS. Then run the EFI Flash Tool that is included in the BIOS .Zip download. You can try using the bootable USB flash drive with DOS before flashing to see if it works.
