I do not recommend new AMD builds, at this time. AM3+ is an old/dead platform. In gaming, an i3 6100 can beat that FX. It also is a newer platform, with upgrade potential. I would replace that CPU, cooler, ram, and motherboard, with this.

I will have to agree with Logainofhades on this, I use to game on a FX8320 at 5ghz (golden chip some say) and some games it was 50% slower then my i7 3770s at 3.1ghz. and it was slower is some games then my i3 2320T. The i3 6100 is a decent choice and you can upgrade later to an i5, i7 or Xeon be get much better performance.

But to answer your question, yes it will give ya decent performance at ultra on BF4, I'm pretty sure it will give you 60fps most of the time if not all the time, my GTX760 did and the R9 380x is bit faster overall. I'd still go for the Intel system!

Even if you don't get the Skylake i3, and Haswell i5 will do better overall as well. The only time I'd recommend AMD is if you can get a used AMD FX system for really cheap.
