I want to build a $1,000 and a $500 Gaming PC. Can you guys list me the best parts possible with these two budgets? Thank you very much.

Solution
for the $1000 build I see people recommending gtx 1060's and rx 480's and overkill cpu+mobo's, Why are you guys doing this? For a primarily gaming rig the op would be much better off with a locked cpu and and 1070 like this:

Why not just make two $750 machines that are the same. Hardly a difference between an overclocking i5 and a regular one for gaming, all about the GPU.

Also easier to fix and diagnose any problems if you have two identical machines.

No.
No.
I don't have a monitor at the moment. I will buy one after I buy my PC. I only have a TV at the moment.
Not really. I'll be playing a ton of stuff.

That's a good suggestion. I'll try looking into it.

@everyone; Thank you guys. I really appreciate the help.

(I know somebody is going to complain about using the stock cooler, but in my experience they are not that bad and definitely worth the upgrade to a 1070. Its also a fairly easy and cheap future upgrade if you really need it down the road)

As for the $500 pc the others on here seem pretty good but heres my build:

Its a litle over budget, but you get a lot more storage for your money than you would by going with IRon_Man22's build and you have a much more reliable psu in my experience.

Thanks man! I greatly appreciate the help.

How would you change the build if I got into streaming/editing? You can go above the budget if it was necessary.

for streaming and editing, I'd just go with the gaming $1000 build thats there and replace the i5 with an i7, if you go with a locked version, its only about ~$100 more:

If you want to get an overclockable one for the extra horsepower and future-proofing you would need a better motherboard and cpu cooler as well, it would set you back about ~$200-$300 depending on if you want water or air cooling

With air cooling:
