Hi! My computer build is finished, and it's my first build. Using many online wattage calculators, I've gotten estimates of wattage I will use that range from 350-700. I have a 550w bronze XFX Cooler Master PSU now. I have a few questions about this.

1.Can the current PSU work with my build? (Build is posted at the bottom.)

2. If my PSU shorts out, will it damage other components in the build?

3. If a new PSU is needed, what one would you recommend I upgrade to?

4. Also, if there's any concerns or help you could give me for my new finished build, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you all very much.

THE BUILD

CPU: Intel I5-6500 3.2ghz
RAM: DDR4 8gb x 2
Motherboard: Desktop
Video Card: AMD Windforce r9 380x Sapphire
Storage: 1tb 3.5 HDD, 120gb SSD
Optic Drive: ASUS DVD-ROM
PSU: 550w bronze XFX
1 wireless adapter
5 fans, one on case, one on CPU, 2 on video card, and one on PSU

Thanks. What estimated wattage did you get?

Max load that I got was around 375. But he's also right, I just wasn't sure of the power draw of the 380x so that PSU calculator is my go to for overclocking.
