I have recently made my first custom pc. When i turn my computer on, all of the fans (case, cpu cooler, and psu fan) and the led on my gigabyte motherboard turn on but after a few seconds all of them will turn off. This makes me think that the computer is on and then turns off but nothing displays on the screen that I plugged in while the computer is on. If i leave the computer after it has turned off it will take a few seconds but it will turn on again only to have the cycle repeat. Can anybody help me? Is it a problem with the mobo, or psu? What should i do about it? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for all your help. i actually had my moms friend who is an i.t. guy come in and take a look. It looks like it was continuously resting itself but we fixed it by switching some wires around and i am typing this from the new pc. Again thank you for your concern and have a nice day. (btw i keep saying thank you and that's because i am Canadian and therefore polite)

Thanks for your help, i tried resembling the pc outside the case and the same problem occurred . I also checked and yes, all standoffs are installed correctly.

650w evga 80+ gold psu
gigabyte z170 mobo
1tb wd blue
250gb samsung 850 evo

currently using onboard graphics because i am waiting for the amd rx 480 to come back into stock on newegg.ca

I might be able to find a test psu but no promises because this is my first build and the only other psu's i have around are in my parents pcs which are all prebuilt and bought from bestbuy.
