Hello, I've recently decided to build my own PC as an upgrade from an extremely old one. I decided to purchase the following parts.

CASE : Cooler Master HAF 912
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 STRIX
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)
MOBO: ASUS Z170-E LGA 1151 Intel Z170
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 6M Skylake
COOLER: CRYORIG H7

As you see, some parts are missing, for example the hard drive and the PSU, this is because i was planning on using them from my old PC.
The PSU is an ULTRA x2 with 750W (MODEL NO. ULT-XU750P)
I forgot what the HDD is :)pfff:) but its a 2T HDD that works fine so i think it shouldnt matter.

So, is there anything wrong with my set, or is it possible to make a better pc by switching out any parts while retaining a similar price? Also, i tried looking up the PSU and it seems ultra has a bad reputation for ruining parts?(I've had it for almost 8 months now and its probably been working on my old pc for a few years so it's probably 3-2 years old, should i keep it or purchase a new one thats not too expensive?)
and lastly if i do buy these parts will I need anything else like wires or some adapter?

Thank you so much for all your help :) these parts are quite expensive for me and seriously don't want to regret anything.

just to clarify what i mean about the psu is that its probably at least 2-3 years old Thanks again!

Solution
For your parts a good 500w will be sufficient.
I've put together a list with better component choices, and a better case, as the HAF 912 is poor value for the build quality you get.

Thank you for your reply, I wont be using that powersupply and will purchase one of the power supplies you suggested.
Will 550W be sufficient for my parts or what would you recommend?
