I have recently got my hands on a new motherboard, more specifically, the ASUS 970 pro gaming/aura, as well as a new cpu and ram. I booted it up and it crashed as Windows was starting, I have installed a new driver for the motherboard, but I am confused as of what to do now. Do I need to perform a clean install of windows 7? I would appreciate it if you could give me an idea of what to do next.

In case you need to know:
Cpu: AMD FX6300
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series
MB: 970 Pro gaming/aura

If you need more information just let me know.

Solution
If you've changed the motherboard since Windows 7 was installed, the installation is no longer valid.
The old mobo drivers are all invalid now, as is the hardware ID and a large number of keys in the registry.

You have to re-install Windows from scratch (clean install).

Only Windows 10 will tolerate being moved to different hardware (one of it's biggest plus points and about time too).
