My computer after installing a new motherboard will not do any sequences when I try to boot it up with the new motherboard's drive installer disc in the disc reader. The computer does turn on but won't send anything through to the monitor. Please help me to figure this out.
Thanks

I figured it out, after scanning over my motherboard meticulously I saw I had not plugged in the CPU to the PSU. I feel like such a beginner builder now since this is probably my twentieth build. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions

I assume you have an OS installed on the SSD already? Try disconnecting any drives with OSs on them and see if you get display to reach to BIOS.

Sometimes you can have an outright conflict, resulting in no POST or display when moving your drives to a new system/motherboard.

I just connected a HDD with nothing on it and still the BIOS does not come on the display

You don't need to connect any storage to reach the BIOS - I'd just leave all drives unattached at this point.

Try to boot with a single RAM module (if no luck, try the other one by itself). Double-check for bent pins on the CPU/socket too.

I've looked for bent pins, and detached all drives, and I have moved my stick of RAM to the other black slot, with all that said, it still will not pop up
