In my area you can buy a Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 480 or a PALIT GTX 1060 Dual for the same price. What should i choose? The reference rx 480 got a mediocre cooler that's kinda hard to clean, it runs hot (~85C max), and i've heard about it being quite loud. The GTX 1060 is a little bit more powerful, it's got an open cooler that's easier to clean and cooler (~75C max), but it's made by Palit. Palit has got a bad reputation and i don't really want to buy their stuff.

Dude I got a Palit 1060 DUAL like a week ago and, so long, so good. It keeps the GPU under 80C with GTAV almost maxed out and the fans keep at somewhere around 60-70% with the noise not being really an issue there. I say if u don't trust palit but the store where u are going to get it is trustable then go for it.
EDIT: Oh and the Boost clock while playing is constantly around the 1860Mhz when the card is "suffering" ( 90%+ GPU usage and temps over 75C) without any overclocking and with the fan curve set to default.
