Random crashing and unresponsive PC outbursts when playing certain games

Yesterday after I decided to get on GTA 5, moments later my PC "crashed". It didn't turn off, but the screen went black and every few seconds a few stutters of light would flash across the screen. My keyboard became unresponsive as I couldn't turn on or off simple functions from the keyboard like caps lock or num lock. This just started happening out of the blue and from what other games I've tested it's most prevalent while I play higher-end games, like Witcher 3 or the like.

I'm going to be looking into trying to get a crash report if it happens again, in which case I'll add it on. I've never had this happen and it's so odd that it's happening now for whatever reason when I've played these games before without a problem.

Edit: After another "crash" I looked for any sort of crash dump using WhoCrashed, and none are found.
Edit2: Took a video of the screen after it blacks out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klf-Jb7A-sQ

Solution
Well, you could always uninstall the GPU drivers and use Intels iGPU (if the motherboard supports it) to test for GPU problems. If they go away, then you know it's the GPU.

I ran a windows diagnostic tool and it didn't pick up any problems related to memory. I've also tried reverting my drivers to an earlier date, but no fix. I highly doubt it has anything to do with temperature as it gets to pretty standard temps when running games from what I've read, the highest being 70C. If it is the GPU I'm not too sure of many other ways to find out.
