Old part picker for rig, same other then a Kraken cooler, and a Asus Maximus VIII Hero Alpha.

Now.. like an idiot I went to do a clean install of my gpu drivers, and messed it up then things went spiraling out of control from there.

Uninstalled drivers from control panel, restarted, black screen, not even bios was showing. Popped my cards out, went with onboard, everything was fine with a visble screen. Made sure windows had installed all drivers then shut down, and put my cards back in and..complete black screen. After reading online, it was suggested to pop the cmos battery, which I did. Then it got bad, as now the system isn't even posting with a consistent Qcode 99. Made sure everything was seated correctly, tried onboard again, flashed the bios, tried onboard again. And still it's the same. Qcode 99 with the little box complianing as it floats around my monitor. It's very late now and I'm at my wits end, so please, I would be very thankful for some help on what I can do, the more detailed the better because apparently I've gone full potato. But I'm hoping that pulling the rig entirely apart and testing each component will be an extreme last resort as well. Thanks again folks

Solution
start with one ram stick in the main ram slot. no gpu and see if the mb will post. make sure the cmos battery and jumper and reset and power wires are in the right place. if the mb wont post with onboard video try clearing it with the cmos jumper. if not chnage pull the mb from the case make sure the cooler not on to tight and see if you can post it from ontop of a box.
