I have set up my windows 7 pro (x64) pc as my TV / Surround Sound 3D Home Theater / Gaming System in my lounge room with a tv tuner. The ink monitor for my Epson Stylus TX200 printer keeps popping up and even displays over the TV app so it interferes with my TV viewing, it also minimizes games to display the ink monitor which crashes the few games I have that hate being minimized and resumed.

Is there a way to disable the ink monitor pop-up? if so how?

I went into "devices and printers" and under the "General" tab, there was not one single option other than "ok" or "Cancel" and under the "Hardware" tab, there only another "properties" button and that was only to update drivers and I can not find any potions to enable or disable anything.

I can only find under a serch of "Epson" in the start menu is a file manager for choosing files to print, an easy photo print program, an attach to email program and the scanner utility and settings for the scanner only, and of course an uninstaller. I can not find anything that can allow me to disable this annoying pop-up that interferes with everything my rig does.

On older Epson Stylus printers, you would right-click on the printer icon on your pc in "Devices and Printers" -> go to "Monitoring Preferences" -> "Select Notifications" -> "Disable Ink Low Notification". You could also disable all sorts of notifications from this page.

Hope this helps, else it might be time to write Epson a strongly worded email.

That's what I did before, right-click on the printer icon in "Devices and Printers", but there is only a "General" Tab with the "Ok" and "cancel" and nothing else and a "Hardware" tab with only a "Properties" button and that is only to update drivers. Nothing else is there
