Hello guys, I have the following hardware on my desktop computer with windows 10 :

Motherboard: Asus P6T Deluxe v2 (https://www.asus.com/gr/Motherboards/P6T_Deluxe_V2/)
Graphics card: Amd radeon hd 6800
CPU: i7-950 3.07 GHz
RAM: 6 gb
Speakers: Logitech Z623 (just bought them today) 2.1 speakers

I'm very new to the audio scene but i would like to know if i can get even more quality if i bought an external sound card.
I'm thinking of buying an external one because it is easier to setup and i don't want to mess with the inside of my computer's case and completely destroy it.
What sound card would you recommend in the range of 100-200 Euros to buy?
Do you think i would notice a difference with a new sound card or should i keep the one that is built-in the motherboard?
Thanks for reading

Hello... I see your do not have a Realtek audio chip on your MB... these are really good Sounding for "software" chip audio... The main advantage to look for in an 'external" is that it's a "hardware" based Chip designed, this will reduce the CPU "work" in Playing Audio on your system.

As a "Simple Test" of your Audio chip and Sound... can you try some different Output setting for it to your speakers?

Control Panel-Sound highlight/click Speakers-Properties-Advanced-Default Format and try some different "Bit" and "Freq" setting B /
