There is this old game I play on my new PC and it crashes a lot at certain instances. I am unsure if it was the game or PC, but I am pretty sure it was the game that time that crashed real hard that it gave me a black screen. I couldn't get out of it, I even tried to bring up task manager so I had to instant power off my PC.

Any damage done?

Solution
Unlikely, if its just this game, it could be just bad design, if your pc has stability issues when playing other games, its likely your pc has a hardware problem.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from MiloshDr : "What just happened?"

I have recently bought a ASUS ROG gaming laptop and since I haven't got any modern games yet I decided to download Modern Combat 5 to my PC. Now my PC never crashes even when I play more power demanding games like bad company 2, or Day z on maximum settings @75hz 1080p. So I know that its modern combat 5 the game that is known to have issues of crashing. This time the game crashed really hard causing me to get stuck with a black screen and I couldn't even get a hold of task manager, PC didn't even turn off when I pressed the power button so I had to hold it to force it off.

My worry is, could there be any damage done? What else could I have done?
