So long story short i would like to upgrade my current pc (a8 5500 8gb ddr3 ram asus mobo -do not know the exact model, sorry- 500 watt 80 plus bronze psu) I currently have a core i3 4130 @ 3.4 ghz that i bought from my step brother for 50 dollars, i have a source 530, a MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition LGA 1150 Intel Z97 motherboard, a msi gtx 1060 gaming, and some thermal paste for the stock cooler that my brother gave me.

I would like to continue using my, admitidally pretty bad, 500 gigabyte western digital hard drive for money reasons, i have windows 10 installed on it and i do not have the case that the disk came in to get the key off of

how can i use my old hard drive with the current copy of windows to operate my new pc, is there anywhere in the os that i can retrieve the os key from

also the gtx 1060 comes 3 days after the mobo and case, so since im impatient i would like to just add the gpu later on when it comes in the mail, i can just not game at all for a few days if i can add the gpu later if that would not make me have to reinstall again

any links to tutorials that may be useful would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance to whomever responds

If you bought an OEM version it is tied to your old hardware; you'll need a new key.
If you bought a "retail" version, you should be okay, but it won't likely activate automatically. You'll need to call MS and plead your case.
