I just recently install two new ram sticks ddr3 1866 (8GB x2). the computer does show 16gb in total running. CPU shows its in duel channel, DRAM frequency is 799.3mhz. From what I understand duel channel x2 means 799 x2 which gives me close to 1600. NB frequency is 3897.7mhz.

I am just confuse whats going on with the speed given. My previous ram was ddr3 1600 x2 4gb .

Solution
933 Mhz x 2= 1866 overall.

Enable xmp mode in the bios of the motherboard and then select a Xmp profile for the memory via the speed selection table Hashio.
