Hello all,

Currently I have a problem where I have low fps in nearly every game I play. I ran 3 different anti viruses in which all have 0 threats. Since I do have a AMD cpu I do know that games that are more cpu based will have lower fps. I also know that there was a gtx 970 scandal where nvidia advertised that we were getting more power than we actually were, but that wouldn't apply here because I use to get higher fps when I first used my rig.

CSGO: Old Average- 300fps on high/very high settings
Latest Average- 90-120 fps on medium/high settings

Minecraft: Old Average- 450+fps on all max settings
Latest Average- 120-200fps on max settings

Rocket League- Old Average- 350fps on max settings
Latest Average- 150fps on max settings

Overwatch- Latest Average- 130fps and lower on max settings

My Specs:

The PC is only a year old
My gtx 970 has the latest update to it
I turn my computer off almost every night

Just trying to give you guys as much data as possible :p
Thanks in advance for anyone that can help me!

Its the same exact computer just the old averages were from a year ago and latest are as of 8/3/16.

If you want specs in writing:
AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Patriot Viper 3 Low Profile Red 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X Video Card
Asus VG248QE 24.0" 144Hz Monitor

thats just the main components of my build. I did not upgrade anything.

I'll try that, also I'll try redownloading the new one off of the Nvidia website. Maybe that will help!

Update: I reinstalled my drivers and I think that might have worked! Must have been a faulty driver installation. TY!
