just installed an asus 1070 in my PC, i7-6700k, ASUS z170A motherboard and 1000w evga PSU, i booted it up and its in a continous boot ( just keeps turning on & off ) and when it first turns on theres a red light under the CPU then it switches after a few seconds and there is a red light to the right of the CPU, it never posts, any ideas how to fix??

Take out the cmos battery for like 5 minutes then try again. If that doesn't work then try putting it in another pcie slot to see if it will post..
