Ok so for my xbox one my NAT type has almost always been on open but lately it has been on strict. I've restarted my router multiple times and checked my brothers Xbox which is on the same Wi-Fi and his NAT is open. It's really irritating and I honestly don't know what to do...

unless you set your Xbox to a static IP and open the ports for the games and services you use or just directly throw it in the DMZ of your router should help.
there are many guides on it online:

There is a valid solution that will work - however it's quite a technical solution (And rarely free):
Run one XBox as normal, and route the other XBox through a VPN Connection, but since XBox does'nt support this facility, you need to run a Network box as a VPN Bridge between your router and the XBox; beyond most home users tech level.

Hey, so when I tried to solve this problem. I read a lot of threads that this problem is not solvable. Thought I can say it actually is with the right router settings.

Charter is my isp, the modem is the standard modem they let me use for free and I have a netgear nighthawk router.

After logging into router settings go-to advanced settings>setup>WAN setup>NAT filtereing, select open.

Not sure if this an option on other routers, but thought it might help someone. :)

Also, one xbox one is wired, and the other is Wi-Fi and both have an OPEN NAT TYPE!!
