how should I connect the fans for liquid cpu cooler to mb

Hi, I have a h110i gt and those two stock fan coming with it are connected to the cooler. For many reasons (I hate corsair link, especially the latest update...), I decide to connect the cpu fan to my Gene VII mb, and let the AI Suite 3 to control my fans. But, the wire routing confuses me:

Those two cpu fans are connect to the cooler via a Y splitter, and the cpu cooler has another Y splitter with one for PSU and the other for "CPU FAN" on my mb. The rest usb wire is for the pump I guess.

I see someone did successfully reroute the cpu fans to mb with his h100 , but i don't know how exactly should I do it with my h110i.

Should I unplug the cpu cooler from the "CPU FAN" at my mb and plug those two cpu fans to the "CPU FAN" and "CPU OPT"? I don't remember the different between "CPU FAN" and "CPU OPT", Both are 4 pins, but the AI Suites only shows 1 fan. I guess the "CPU FAN" is probably not controlled by AI Suite. If I'm wrong, please correct me. If so, should I use a Y splitter on the "CPU OPT" to let my mb control both cpu fans? will the power enough to support them?

After I done the rerouting, I will need to find a corsair link that can monitor my pump and check if my pump is working ok.

Any ideas or thoughts will be appreciated.

I have a different cooler on my I7-4790 and initially installed the motor pump on the cpu fan header. That was a mistake. I wound up with temps in the 60C range under no load and the fans running full tilt. I changed the motor to a fully powered header and put the fans on the cpu fan header. Now the fans only run when the cpu usage goes up and the cpu usually runs in the 40-45C range. It is much quieter.

plug the radiator fan to "CPU_fan" and the pump to "CPU_opt".
on the AI suite make the "CPU_opt" fan run on full speed and let the CPU_fan run on a fan curve.
this will ensure you pump is always running at its normal power and the fan will only go faster when the CPU is under load.

My cooler's pump is connect to a usb port at my mb and it's a 7 (or 8) pin one. It won't go with "CPU-OPT". Do I have to use some converter?
Also, when you say connect my radiator fans to "CPU-FAN", I guess you are saying I should use Y splitter, but I wonder if the power is enough for two fans. Each of my other case fans is just connected to 1 4-pin place

Thank you for telling me. I guess your pump is a 4 (or 3) pin connector, right? Mine is a for a usb connector (7 or 8 pin). Guess I should just connect radiator fan to "CPU FAN" and give them a shot.
