XFX themselves recommend a 650W PSU (500W minimum) but that's to account for the sheer volume of junk PSUs in the market today. http://xfxforce.com/en-us/products/amd-radeon-r9-200-series/amd-radeon-r9-270x-double-dissipation-edition-r9-270x-cdfc To the best of my knowledge, Rosewill don't have a 'poor' PSU in their lineup.
