in mylaptop,i could not hear any sound from headphone.then speakers stopped too after i ended a sound process in task manager.

I am having a asus netbook. please help me out so that I can hear the music again through headphones as well as normally through the speakers.

Yes, I have done a soft-reboot and multiple hard-reboots with no luck. I know it has to be something simple. I am just too simple to figure it out. I will try the system restore.
