I'm completely new to the PC scene and was wondering if anyone could help me with a build. Im looking to play games like rust and battlefield when it comes out. Like i said in the title id like to stay around the 900 mark, a little over is no problem though. Any help is appreciated, thanks :)

As I'm sure you know, we get screwed in Canada on hardware prices. Especially PSUs and GPUs.

Where about specifically are you? There is MemoryExpress in Western Canada, and Eastern has something similar too - where you can price beat prices on any Canadian retailer or e-tailer. Just keep that in mind.

Around the $900 mark, I'd look to something like this:

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor ($148.95 @ Vuugo)
Motherboard: ASRock H110M-DGS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($39.98 @ NCIX)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($39.99 @ NCIX)

A little over budget.

You might want to invest a little more for an i5 for the true quad-core aspect. The i3 is respectable though - dual core + hyper-threading.

Here's an i5 + nVidia option. The cards are interchangeable and right around the same price point - so it depends whether you have an affiliation for either brand.
