CPU cooler opinions

Solution
Yes, the cooler will definitely be "good enough".

If you're looking for a different aesthetic, that's a different story. A "Phanteks" cpu cooler might be more design oriented: (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709020&cm_re=phanteks_cpu_cooler-_-35-709-020-_-Product). It also has 9 decibels less noise, but I don't think I would be able to notice the difference personally.

But with regards to cooling and airflow performance, the Hyper 212 EVO owns such a large part of the market-share because it's an exceptionally good cooler, and quieter than the vast majority of graphics cards, including that EVGA 1060 (I own it). Its air flow is fantastic for such a simple and affordable design.

Cheers mate, good luck with...

I decided to go with the i7 6700 instead, will this cooler still be good for it? Or do I need to get something better?

It would still work just fine in the air-cooling spectrum.
