Tablet shows wrong avabile storage. Any solution?

Solution
Guys, I think I've got the answer. Before the reset I installed the Asphalt 8. Now I installed it again. And most of the look-alike blank space is gone and now It's under the apps tab. I think the rest of that space is belongs to my old apps too.
Hey again mate.

Having in mind the issues you've already experienced, it might be a faulty card. Try reformatting it via a computer, then connect it to the tablet and (I think) you should reformat it via the device you're using it with in order to have the proper file system and directory folders and everything. So after the PC format, do it again with the tablet, to see if the problem goes away. If not, just RMA it if it's under warranty or get a new one if it's not.

Good luck!

What tablet you are using? What is thumbdata3? Where it is?

Your screenshot is perfectly fine. You formatted EXTERNAL SD card, hence it shows correct storage. In screenshot I can see external SD is almost empty its the internal storage that has data. Which is all fine if you erased your SD card. Why do you think its showing wrong available storage?

1. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact / SGP 611
2. The thumbnail file of the pictures. It's size depends on how many pics you have.
3. Internal Storage -> DCIM -> .thumbnails

I have problems with the internal storage, not with the SD card.
You see the gray area on the internal storage. The stripe represents 12 GB, so I don't think the grey area is nearly 1 GB only. I think the tab has some wrong info about the files on the SD and thinks there are still a lot of pics and games. I think I will try factory reset and recover my apps with Google Play.
