ASUS ROG GL552JX-DM291D has a 4gb ddr3 ram with one slot open.. It can be upgraded to 16gb.. But I'm looking to just buy one 8gb chip to go along with the pre installed 4gb.. Can a 8gb ddr3l chip work with a ddr3 or do i need to look for a ddr3 chip only?
