I have just installed a new graphics card (MSI geforce gtx 1060, from my old graphics card: nvidia geforce gtx 760). I have installed all the latest drivers however when i attempt to open a game on steam such as the Witcher 3, it states: "GPU does not meet minimal requirements. Support for direct x 11 is required". I am 100% sure direct x 11 is installed on my computer as i have installed the latest windows updates (i am running windows 7). I have tried everything to find out the solution to the problem and i have ran out of options. Moreover, my computer is running incredibly more sluggish compared to my previous graphics card. I don't have a wealth of knowledge on PC's so help is truly needed. Thanks in advance.

run DDU uninstall all gpu drivers
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
go to the nvidia website and download then install the newest version
make sure the monitor is hooked up to the new card and not the motherboard
