Does my Keyboard get power when my PC is off but plugged in?

So, i decided to try the straw dip meyhod on my Cherry MX Blue switches after i found out my period key was sticky. I turned off the computer but i forgot to unplug it. I am worried i just shorted my KB out. When the comp. is off but plugged in, it usually has no lights but, my hard drive light being on leads me to believe the USB devices are getting power but idk about my keyboard because no lights are on. Please help! Is my KB shorted out? Thanks! My KB is a K70 LUX btw and the hard drive was not plugged in through the USB passthrough of the KB.

It will most likely have had power while plugged in, but you will not have shorted it most likely. The best thing to do is turn your computer on, try it and if it works, then well, it works.
