If you could please suggest the best processor for 150 pounds ish and will my powersupply be able to support it? It is a 430W bronze corsair and it does fine with my current parts:
nvidia geforce 960 4gb
1x ssd 2x hdd
Intel pentium g3258
8gb ram
430 psu

Solution
i3-4360 for sure maybe a i5-4460 if its on a slight sale. This is keeping with your Haswell setup. Yes the PSU is fine, though barely. The GPU you have recommends a 400w supply so you have just enough.

Hi, im guessing you are keeping your motherboard as wolf said above correct?
If so, Intel i5 4460 @ 161£ wpuld be your best option and just barely over budget.
Also if u can tell us your motherboard model too.

alternatives:
i5 4570T 158£
i5 4440 153£ (best option for your budget imo ofc)
I3-4150 135£
i didn't see i3-4360 available but if u find it in the price range of that i3-4150 then go for the 4360 ofc.

any of these will give you a nice "boost" over your current pentium g3258.

btw, are you going to do any overclocking? IF so then your power supply would not be enough.
