Hello, first time PC build. Upon initial boot up I receive a notice in the BIOS of a high CPU temperature that reads up to 100c before I panic and shut down the computer.
Pc specs are:
CP Cooler: Corsair H100i v2
CPU: i7 5820k
Motherboard: Asus Rampage V Extreme
GPU: MSI 1070
PSU: Corsair RM750I
Ram: Corsair DDR4 3000mhz
When I installed the cpu cooler I did not apply any thermal paste as I was under the impression that there was some already on there? Any suggestions or advice would be really great. Thank you.
