Hi all. I apologise if I posted this in the wrong place.

I was playing a game called ''The Sims 3'' which uses a high amount of CPU on my computer. I turned my chair around and somehow knocked off my power cord, thus my computer lost power. I plugged the cord back in and my computer started up very slowly. It was stuck at the welcome screen, and after around 3 hours of trying, it finally loaded to the desktop. All my files on my desktop appeared blank, and whenever I tried clicking on anything it would crash. I can't even get into settings to reset my PC as it is so sluggish and crashed. My computer is a gaming pc (custom built) so it is usually the opposite of this. I have no SSD or drive to reinstall Windows 10 and as I stated earlier, can't even access the reset point.

Any help would be welcome.

Thank you!
