Hi! i just recently got my msi gtx 1070 gaming edition. I keep getting an error that the drivers i have arent compatible with my version of windows. I have tried installing from both the disk and from the software i got off their website. Any ideas?
Sometimes the AIB partners will tinker with the nvidia drivers, tweaking them for use with their card. So it's best to check. With 10pro,you should have no issues with the 1070, it was built with 10 in mind, so you have a conflict somewhere. My guess is older drivers or the win default drivers are overriding the nvidia drivers.
Run that, follow all the directions precisely. If you previously had an AMD card installed, run it for amd and nvidia. Download the latest drivers for your card from either the manufacturers website or directly from nvidia. Then reinstall, don't bother with the disc, just the download.
